Suspect wanted in Stabbing

Brampton Investigators from 22 Division Investigation Bureau have released a composite sketch to identify a suspect after a stabbing incident that occurred in Brampton.

On Monday march 28, 2016, at approximately 5:15 p.m., the two victims both 19 years of age were walking south on the west side sidewalk of Mavis Road, south of Steeles Avenue, in Brampton.  At this time the victims were confronted by an unknown male suspect, who slashed them with an edged weapon.  The victims sustained non -life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated and later released.

Witnesses report the suspect fled southbound on Mavis Road in a dark four -door vehicle, described similar to a Jeep Cherokee.

The suspect is described as male, black, 5`10″ tall, 30 to 35 years of age with a medium build.  he was last seen wearing dark clothing and a possible dark toque.  The suspect was armed with an unknown edged weapon. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached
